October in Michigan is one of the most stunning months in the whole year. Red, yellow, and orange leaves begin to fill the huge trees that line the streets of Northville. Winter has not set in, and the crisp air is refreshing. Not only is it one of the most beautiful times of year in Michigan, it also happens to be a time of year filled with exciting activities.

Maybury Farm’s Corn Maze

If you have never experienced a corn maze, you are in for a fun surprise. Northville, Michigan hosts one of the best corn mazes in all of Michigan at the famous Maybury Farm. This year’s corn maze is a huge six-acres of tall corn designed to challenge participants of all ages. Start your journey off with a hayride that takes you back to where the challenge begins. Once you are dropped off, you use your navigational skills to find your way through the twisty turns.

Want a Challenge?

Are you an expert corn mazer? Well, you can challenge yourself by trying to find all nine wooden animals that are hidden throughout the maze. Once you have completed this challenge you may be entered to win four tickets to Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. 

However, there is even one more way to make this maze a bigger challenge: complete the maze in the dark. The corn maze is open until 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights for those willing to find the courage to find their way through the twist and turns with only the night sky to lead them.

After you have conquered the challenging corn maze, you will take a hayride back to the farm where all your favorite fall treats will be waiting for you including cider, donuts, and snacks.

Visiting Maybury Farm in the fall alone is a great experience that the whole family will enjoy. The farm has rich history that provides educational opportunities, educational tours, summer day camps, story times, petting zoo, and birthday parties.

Corn Maze Hours

The Maybury Farm Corn Maze is open for the month of October. It will close on October 30, 2016.

  • Fridays from 6:00pm – 10:00 pm
  • Saturdays from 12:00pm – 10:00 pm
  • Sundays from 12:00pm – 7:00 pm

Keep in mind that the last wagon leaves for the corn maze one hour prior to closing.

Cost of Corn Maze

The cost of the corn maze is $7.00 a person, which includes the wagon ride, as well as, your admission into Maybury Farm. All children 2 and under are free. The best part is that you know that your money is going to good use as it goes directly to helping to take care of the animals throughout the winter.

Location of Maybury Farm

Maybury Farm is located at 50165 8 Mile Rd in Northville, Michigan. Enter at the Maybury Farm sign. Make sure not to enter the state park. Parking is free at Maybury Farm.
