  1. Breakthrough For Brain Tumors - Novi 5k Run/Walk

    Run & Walk starts: 9:00 am

    On Saturday, May 10th at 8 am at Providence Park Hospital in Novi, join those who are helping to fund research on brain tumors. The hope is that by raising money and support, more and more breakthroughs will happen and more resources will go to families and patients with brain tumors.

    There are over 700,000 people that are living with a brain tumor right now. Every day another 500 people are diagnosed. The event starts at 7:30 am and the Run/Walk begins at 9 am.   2. 2014 Household Hazardous Waste Event

    9:00 am – 12:00 pm

    Don’t forget this weekend that the city of Novi is participating in an event to get rid of household hazardous waste. Paper shredding will be available as well. Each house has a limited of 100 pounds or three boxes of waste. You can even bring your electronics that need discarding.

    The event is this Saturday, May 10th from 9 am - 2 pm at the OCC Orchard Ridge Campus (west side of campus), 27055 Orchard Lake Rd., Farmington Hills. For more information, please visit the City of Novi’s website.
  3. MLB® Pitch, Hit and Run™ Competition

    10 am – 12 pm

    Do you have a youngster looking to test their baseball or softball skills? This weekend, the grassroots program called Pitch, Hit & Run will give children the chance to compete for recognition in softball or baseball skills.

    Boys and girls will be divided into different groups by age. Those who advance through the four levels of competition will have the opportunity to go the team championships at major league ball parks and even the national finals at the 2014 MLB (tm) All-Star Game.

    There is no registration required. Simply bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate and registration/waiver form before the competition. The competition is being sponsored by the City of Novi Parks Recreation and Cultural Services Department and will be held at Ella Mae Power Park and it is a free event. The event is this Saturday, May 10th from 10 am – 12 pm.

  4. Mother’s Day Tea
