    The benefits of having real estate agent do not matter if your agent is not knowledgeable, on your side and working for your benefit. Your real estate agent is going to be the one negotiating and closing the deal for you. It is essential that you put your home into the hands of someone you trust.
  2. Not Listening To Your Agent

    You may hire the best real estate agent in town, but if all his or her advice is ignored, it won’t benefit you. Your trusted real estate agent is your best resource to help you market and sell your home.
  3. Not Getting Real With The Price Tag

    The housing market is making its way back. Unfortunately, the housing market has changed in the last 10 years. One of the biggest hindrances that sellers run into is that their price tag doesn’t match what the current market values are. Pricing a house over market value will cause the loss of potential buyers as they pass by your house to find something that has a more market friendly price.
  4. Not Staging Your Home

    Staging ideas include putting on a fresh coat of paint throughout, taking the personal pictures down, cleaning the stains off of the carpets, and in general deep cleaning the house.

    Luckily, these things do not cost too much money and can be done with a little elbow grease.
  5. Not Including compelling photos

    Our last tip parallels with tip number 4. As a real estate agent, I cringe when I see photos online of a beautiful house for sale that shows an upstaged house with clothes, dishes, and personal photos everywhere.

    Online compelling pictures of the house for sale can be a magnet drawing potential buyers to consider and view your home. Many potential buyers preview the photos to make sure that visiting the house is worth the trip. Include enticing photos online that highlight all your home has to offer.
