If you don’t go to any other festivals this year, make sure you don’t miss Maybury Farm’s Farm Fest. If you’ve been looking for a summer festival for the whole family, if your kids are interested in farm life or animals - or if they just like to hang out outside and do things with their hands, this is the festival for you. Maybury Farm pulls out all the stops for this one - it is not to be missed.

This year’s Farm Fest will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Farm Fest features an array of activities on the farm for kids and adults alike. There will be games and activities for children, live music, yummy food, wagon rides, farm animals to see and pet, story time, a whole family scavenger hunt, and many games!

Farm Fest at Maybury Farm

The best part of this Farm Fest is the live demonstrations of farm life from long ago that your children may not get to see. You will be able to watch closely as professionals show the patience and skill required to shear sheep, spin wool, and blacksmith. These demonstrations aren’t the only ones you will see.

In addition to all this fun, Maybury has partnered with Plymouth Home Depot, the Country Garden Club of Northville, and Northville Art House in order to offer many more fun activities for children.

Building Workshop

There will be a building workshop. Let your kids learn basic carpentry skills as they learn about tools and wood and make something all by themselves.

Art Project

The art project will allow your kids enjoy getting into art mediums and being creative.

Planting Station

There will be a station for planting container gardens where kids can try their hand at making their own little garden to take home and care for.

Finally, there will be a raffle for a 55’’ Samsung LED TV put on as a fundraiser for the farm. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20.

Cost and Location

Entry cost to the Farm Fest is $5 per person and children under 2 are free.
