Downtown Northville has over 60 different locally owned shops. With so many options, you will find that perfectly unique one of a kind gift this Saturday. Rather than spending your time, money and sanity at the malls, shop local and stress-free.

First Friday Experience

The first Friday of each month is special in Northville, Michigan making it a great place to head to for a girls night out or a date night. Many of the local shops and galleries extend their hours, offer special sales, live entertainment and refreshments.

Once you’ve shopped till you’ve dropped, head over to one of the 23 local restaurants for dinner.

First Friday for Kids Party

This month the kids get to enjoy their own first Friday party at the Northville Community Center. According to the Downtown Northville website, this party will include games, the opportunity to make unique crafts, and sing karaoke.

Bring your kids in their favorite PJs and don’t forget their pillow and blanket as there will be an optional movie. Drinks and snacks will be provided. The cost is $12 per child and there is limited space available.

Santa at Maybury Farm

This year, let’s avoid the long line to see Santa at the mall. Instead, let’s take our children to see Santa at the Maybury Farm. While we wait with our children, we can enjoy cookies, hot cocoa and visit the Maybury farm gift shop.

The cost, according to the Northville Community Foundation website,

        “Admission is just a smile and donation for our winter feed for the animals.”
