This weekend, Northville is having its annual Taste of Northville Business Showcase, but that’s not all that’s happening in this city. Northville is known for having a “small town feel” with a big city access. There is always something to do and enjoy, and this weekend is no different.

Taste of Northville Business Showcase

Saturday, March 8
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

The Northville Chamber of Commerce kicks off a year-long celebration with the Annual Taste of Northville Business Showcase this weekend. This year, the chamber is turning 50-years-old and they are ready to celebrate.

The first celebration is this Saturday, March 8th, at the Northville High School located at 45700 Six Mile Road (between Sheldon and Beck Roads) from noon to 3:00 pm.

Over 1000 business owners and residents are expected to show up for the showcase. Those who attend will enjoy free samples, prizes and raffles.

Each attendant will vote for the best business display, restaurant/caterer display and best theme display in the “People’s Choice Awards.” The winners will receive a plaque and media recognition.

If you are looking to get out of the house this weekend, take the whole family and head over to the Northville High School. Admission is only $3.00 per person at the door.

Genitti’s Hole-in-the-wall Dinner Show

If you looking for a fun date night with your special someone this Saturday, Genitti’s Hole-in-the-wall has you covered. Jasen Magic will be performing live on stage for an “adult only” show this Saturday. Dinner and the show start at 6:30 pm and the price is $35.00 per person.

The Maple Syrup Experience at Maybury Farm

Saturday and Sunday, March 8-9
Tours at: 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm

In Michigan, it almost appears to be a rite of passage for every Michigan child to learn how to make maple syrup. It is that time of year and time for our children to enjoy the “hands on” experience of learning all about maple sugar.

At Maybury Farm in Northville, Michigan, you can share that classic Michigan childhood experience with your children. There will be a hay ride to the farm’s Sugarbush where you and your children will have the chance to tap the trees and learn the steps to making maple syrup.

Tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout March at 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The General Store and Welcome Center will be open to purchase maple syrup and maple syrup products.
