New York real estate developer and television personality, Donald Trump is scheduled as the keynote speaker at Novi Michigan's Lincoln Day dinner, according to organizer David Trott. The "Observer and Eccentric" quoted Trump as saying, "I am honored to have the opportunity to share my thoughts and views with the Oakland County Republican Party and the great state of Michigan." The dinner, which is scheduled for May 22 at 7:00 p.m., is a favorite Oakland County GOP fundraiser.

Novi welcomes Donald Trump for Lincoln Day dinner speech
Philanthropist and entrepreneur Trump, who considered running for president in 2012, is a natural fit for the Lincoln Day event. Trump, a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and life-long republican, is the developer of such luxury properties as the Trump Tower in Manhattan, Trump International Hotels throughout the United States, and Trump Place, along the Hudson River in New York City.

Trump also owns the Miss Universe Organization, the producers of the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA beauty pageants, and is the author of more than a dozen books. Trump is arguably best known as the personality behind the television shows, "The Apprentice" and "Celebrity Apprentice."
