What do you think of when you think of baseball? Do you think of big time names like Babe Ruth? Baseball has quite a history. This Sunday you can experience a bit of baseball’s history by attending a Vintage Base Ball Game right in Northville, Michigan. Here is the listing from the Northville Patch,

“The Northville Eclipse is a volunteer group of baseball and history enthusiasts who compete against other Midwest vintage teams, using the rules and gentlemanly conduct of the 1860s. Vintage base ball is not only a competitive game; it’s a tribute to the sport and similar to an American Civil War reenactment. This version of the sport is played without swearing, sliding, spitting or any sort of playing gloves.”
