Downtown Northville’s Girls’ Night Out

This event only comes around two times a year and with the holiday season coming up, you do not want to miss this. You and your girlfriends will be able to find that one of a kind gift you’ve been looking for.

According to Enjoy Northville, there will be giveaways and special offers at Northville’s 50 plus retail stores. After you have taken advantage of this shopper’s dream night out, plan to visit one of the 20 restaurants and bars to top the evening off. They will be offering specials as well to all the ladies.

Holiday Home Tour

If you are looking for some holiday decoration inspiration, then tomorrow’s event is just for you. Five homes all throughout Northville, Michigan have been selected and will be decorated in different styles.

Tickets are being sold right now. You can call Northville Chamber of Commerce or the Gardenview to order tickets in advance. Tickets ordered in advance are $20 and tickets purchased at the door are $25.

Holiday Lighted Parade

The holiday season is here and it is time to kick it off with Northville’s annual Holiday Lighted Parade. Bundle the kids up and head to Downtown Northville on Friday November, 21st.

According to the Downtown Northville website, the parade route will be as follows:

“The parade will exit the Community Center parking lot onto Cady, then take Cady-EAST to Wing Street. Turn NORTH on Wing Street and proceed to Main Street. Turn WEST on Main Street to Linden, NORTH on Linden to Dunlap, EAST on Dunlap to Hutton, SOUTH on Hutton to Main, WEST on Main to Center, South on Center to Cady, and WEST on Cady to return to the Community Center.”

After the parade, there will be a sing-along for the entire community and a tree lighting ceremony. Plan to stay and enjoy the free refreshments in the Town Square provided by the local churches.

Christmas in the Village

Transport back in time at the Mill Race Village on Sunday, November 23rd. There will be snacks, carolers and weaver demonstrations. The Northville High School band will also be performing and St. Nicholas will be making a visit. If you are interested in holiday shopping, the J.M. Mead General Store will be open and “stocked with gifts for the season.”
