State of the City Address

Novi Mayor Bob Gatt will be delivering the State of the City Address on February 12th. During his speech, he will reflect on the past year’s accomplishments. He will also share where Novi is headed in 2015.

According to the city’s website, the State of the City Address will be on cablecast on Novi Video Bright House and AT&T U-Verse. It will also be available on the city’s website at www.citynovi.org approximately one week after the address.

Valentine’s Day in Novi

“A Novel Bunch” Book Club

There is a new book club in town and it starts next week. This is a great way to meet new people, read new books, and discuss your thoughts and experiences at the Meadowbrook Activity Center.

According to the City of Novi’s website, this group meets four times a year and the meetings start next week. Novi’s librarian, Jessie Schnek, will be leading the discussions.

The reading for this meeting is The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.

Ladies Lunch Brunch

Police and Fire Annual Awards

Mark your calendar to attend the Police and Fire Annual Awards next week to honor our local heroes. Awards will be presented to the Police Officer of the year, Civilian Police Employee of the Year, and Fire Fighter of the Year. There will also be awards given to staff for all the accomplishments and service over this last year.
