This weekend is the Northville Summer Carnival sponsored by the Northville Chamber of Commerce. There will be plenty of rides and games for the entire family to enjoy. Come out and make some memories at this year’s Summer Carnival.

Arts and Acts Festival

This weekend, The Northville Art House will be presenting some great talent in their annual Arts and Acts Festival. The festival will include over 60 artists including:

  • “Reel Michigan Film Festival” at Northville’s Marquis Theatre
  • “Sandbox Play Festival” produced by Tipping Point Theatre
  • “Short on Words” Literary Contest

From art to film, music, literature and even theatre, this event has it all.

Go ahead and bring the kids because Art in the Sun will include a children’s art area with some musical entertainment.

Mad Hatters’ Tea Party Garden Walk

Whether it is raining out or the sun is shining this Saturday, plan to come and enjoy 7 amazing gardens presented by the Gardeners of Northville-Novi, aka the No-No’s.  There will be refreshments, 50/50 raffles, public restrooms and vendors. The cost to join is $10 per ticket.

The Northville Art House Chalk Festival

This Saturday, Northville will be hosting its first chalk festival complete with a judging and awards. You can join the fun or come and see the talent that Northville has to offer. The prizes include:

  • Group First Prize: $100.
  • Adult First Prize: $100.
  • Youth First Prize: $50.
  • Children First Prize: $25.

Registration is only $10 and The Northville Art House will provide each artist/group with a box of artist’s chalk.
