Wok Asian Bistro Now Open

The new restaurant, Wok Asian Bristro, opened this weekend in Northville, Michigan. According to the Downtown Northville’s website, you can start your meal with their featured appetizer spinach & artichoke won tons. From there, you can build your own meal or get recommendations from their well trained and friendly staff.

Farmers’ Market

More and more fresh produce is rolling into the local farmers’ markets. The Northville Farmers’ Market boasts 75 different stalls of fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, and more. Make sure you stop by today.

Friday Night Concerts

Plan to come out this Friday night to enjoy the sounds of Rusty Wright at Northville’s Friday Night Concert. According to Northville Parks and Recreation website, Wright is an International Blues Hall of Fame Member. Next week, don’t miss the Toppermost Beatles Tribute Band.

Friday night concerts are a great place to bring the family or a date. Enjoy a concert and a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants in downtown Northville.

Kona Run

  • Saturday, June 15
  • Parking at Northville Downs
  • 301 S. Center Street
  • Start Time: 7:30 am
  • Cost to Park $3 per vehicle

This year is the 13th annual Kona Run and registration to join this year’s Kona Run is still open. You can choose between running a 10 mile, 10k, 10 mile two person relay, 10k, 5k run/walk, or the Maui Mile. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

The races will start at the Northville Downs track. The 10 mile, 10k & 5K will all starting with a mile around the horse track.

Sundays at Mill Race Village

  • Every Sunday from mid-June to mid-October
  • 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Cost: Free
  • Mill Race Village
  • 215 Griswold St., Northville, MI

Travel back in time when visiting the Mill Race Village in Northville. Between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00 pm, you will find costumed volunteers to guide you through the village. On some Sundays, you will even see a working blacksmith, weavers, and rug hookers all working their trades.

Tunes on Tuesday

You will not want to miss next weekend’s Arts and Acts event in Northville. This is the 6th annual Arts and Acts festival. At the festival you will see the 27th annual fine art show Art in the Sun. This show will feature 70 talented artists.

The 2nd Annual Northville Art House Chalk festival will be held on Saturday the 20th. Artists of all ages will create masterpieces on the sidewalks between the west side of Wing Street and the north side of Cady Street.
