Over the next two weekends, the City of Novi is offering a multitude of events that you will want to be sure to note. Some events are free and other events offer discounts to either older adults or residents of Novi. Whether you are looking to celebrate your favorite veteran or to sing along to “It's The Hard-knock Life” from the musical Annie, this article provides you with the information you are looking for.

Home of the Free, Because of the Brave Brunch

The city of Novi would like to thank all the men and women who have served our country and protected our freedoms. A special brunch has been planned to celebrate our veterans. Plan to attend and be joined by other veterans to eat a delicious brunch, watch a colors ceremony and a folding of the flag ceremony.

This is a free event for our veterans. For family and friends who are residents of Novi the cost is $7 and for non-family and friends the cost is $8.50.

If you love the musical Annie, then you will love Annie Jr. Annie Jr. is a popular comic strip adapted from Annie the musical. Our favorite little orphan charms all in New York City during the Great Depression.

This show will even have your favorite numbers like “It's The Hard-knock Life” and “Tomorrow”. Tickets may be purchased by:

Brain Fun and Fitness: Brain Neurobics

Would you like to give your brain a workout by attending a free event at the Meadowbrook Activity Center on Monday, November 10th? Instead of “use it or lose it”, this event helps to “use it and keep it.” At the event, you will enjoy a variety of exercise that help to improve coordination, creativity and stimulate your memories.

City Offices Closed for Veterans Day

The City of Novi offices as well as Meadowbrook Activity Center will be closed all day on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Thank you to all the men and women who have faithfully served our country and fought for our freedoms.

Princess and Superhero Party

All princesses and superheroes are welcome to dress in their favorite costume for a night full of fantasy fun. There will be adventures, entertainment, craft building, music, and yes a costume contest. Registration for this event ends tomorrow and you do not want to miss it.
