The snow has fallen and Thanksgiving is almost here. The next two weekends in Novi, Michigan are packed with local, family friendly and free events.

Metro High School Hockey Invitation

It’s that time of the year for the Metro High School Hockey Invitation. Opposing conference hockey teams will be squaring off in this annual showcase for this year’s bragging rights. Come out and cheer on your favorite hockey team.

This event is open to the public. Cost of admission for adults is $7. For students and seniors admission is only $5. For all children 5 and under it is free.

Have you loved attending the Novi Farmers Market throughout the summer and fall? Do you love supporting local farmers? The City of Novi has proudly announced that the Novi Farmers Market will be moving indoors for the winter.

This winter, you will find gourmet foods and artisan items. You will find also find foods, decors and those perfect holiday gifts to give – all inside.

The winter market will be held on two Saturdays a month from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on the following dates:

  • November 22
  • December 6 and 20
  • January 10 and 24
  • February 14 and 21
  • March 7 and 21
  • April 4 and 18

Moe’s on Ten Free Thanksgiving Dinner

Come and enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal at Moe’s on Ten. Moe, along with his family, are opening their doors and offering a free meal to the entire community.

Taste oven roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, autumn harvest dressing, homemade chicken noodle soup, rolls, pumpkin pies, and soda or coffee.

The city of Novi is offering free transportation for all of those in need. Transportation reservations are required by Monday November 24th.Please call 248-735-5617 to schedule your transport.

While the meal is completely complimentary, you can offer a donation that will benefits Novi Meals on Wheels.

City Offices Closed For Thanksgiving

The City of Novi offices, the Meadowbrook Activity Center and the Novi Public Library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after.
